I've been writing this blog since 2005. I have had a number of content specific blogs in the past, but decided in 2013 to consolidate them all back into PJMixer. You'll find photo projects, movie reviews, new music and general thoughts about my life. Bob - #82/365
Via Flickr:
Bob was my limo driver from the airport. As soon I detected his English accent we struck up a conversation that continued until he delivered me home. Perhaps a first for me, getting an English accented limo driver in Toronto - and not just any Englishman. He used to live just a few miles from my home town in England and only when I handed him my business card did I find out his mother's maiden name is the same as mine.

Jaap - #80/365
Via Flickr:
On my business trip to California, we had the joy of visiting Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos. As we arrived at the parking lot by bus, I spotted this elegant gent on his bicycle with this superb sunlit valley vista behind him. I jumped off the bus and stopped him as he was riding off and asked to take his photograph. He was visiting relatives from The Netherlands.

Sarah - #75/365
Via Flickr:
Filmmaker, people person, from Sydney, Australia. I met Sarah at the Philip Bloom meet and greet at the Madison Pub. We talked about connecting from strangers, separating the business of photography from the joy of the art. She loves connecting with people in her business and through personal connections.

Courtney - #71/365
Via Flickr:
I ordered a smoothie from Courtney at Freshens as I was passing through the Buffalo airport. Courtney was proud to say she's a true Buffalonian. I asked her to pose with a smoothie shot of her choice - she picked the green tea booster - perfect match with her nails.

Red chairs and the friendly skateboarder / photographer - #60/365
Via Flickr:
I was surprised to find the chairs were not a permanent art installation; the skatebaorder with the camera around his neck did a few passes for me.
