I've been writing this blog since 2005. I have had a number of content specific blogs in the past, but decided in 2013 to consolidate them all back into PJMixer. You'll find photo projects, movie reviews, new music and general thoughts about my life. My Canadian Anniversary
I am Canadian.
I came to Canada 29 years ago today.
I am glad we came and made our new home here.
I am very proud to be a Canadian, proud of our heritage, our tolerance and civility, and the difference we make in the world.
I am happy I met a fantastic Canadian woman and I love her family. I'm very happy to be raising two wonderful Canadian children.

There is so much to be said about being Canadian. I don't know if "proud" is the right word ... but I am honoured that you shared your feelings about your "adopted" country you now call home. So many of us forget that we all came from somewhere else - we are a land of immigrants. I think we forget that too easily.
